Conkers and Candles

You know those conkers you are driving over and squashing all over the road? Well dont…… stop and pick them up, you will love their rich, chocolatey, shiny’ness.

Fill up an old silver bowl with them, tuck in a candle or three and light them……

Autumn is here.

   Helen! I just heard about that from someone else? Is it true? I know this is Hampshire… but truly, I think our spiders might be descended from tarantula’s

   Love your blog Jen, Helen beat me to it as I just heard recently that spiders don’t like conkers – hopefully a solution for Shalani’s bedroom so we don’t have to be mortified from fearful shrieks in the night – they look so lovely in your photograph.
