Mother of Pearl Bracelet

I made this bracelet with a strand of Mother of Pearl I bought recently – different colours to the one I used for the green necklace, but gorgeous none the less. This strand is a combination of white, cream, champagne, grey and gold – perfect for Bridal jewellery!
I’ve used one of my favorite Rose gold Toggle clasps to finish it off.
Champagne Crystal Earrings
30 Sep in Brides, Jewellery | Comments (0)One of my favorite crystal shapes are these rondels. Swarovski makes the most beautiful ones – intricately faceted and in the most wonderful colours. This is a pair of bridal earrings I made for Anna, who wanted them in a champagne colour on 14ct gold.

Red and Gold Bridal jewellery

Annie’s wedding was earlier this month. Her colour scheme was red and gold and she contacted me for jewellery for her 4 bridesmaids. She chose a medium crystal Heart on Red Ribbon for the necklaces, but I made them using 14ct Gold components instead of silver, in order to match her colour scheme. Annie also liked the idea of some bracelets and I used some gold vermeil chain and made some delicate cluster bracelets using gold vermeil beads and an assortment of deep red swarovski crystals.

Grantley and Dalene
09 May in Brides | Comments (0)David’s Brother Grantley finally tied the knot in South Africa at the end of April. We took the opportunity for a holiday there and ended in Durban for the wedding. The colour scheme was pink and orange……which you can only get away with in the African sunshine! Dalene is so gorgeous she couldn’t be anything other than a stunning bride.

Crystal Bridal Necklace

Rebecca then asked me to make her a crystal heart necklace to match her crystal earrings. I used the same size crystal heart as a pendant and wire wrapped crystals to make the front of the necklace. I graded them in size, using larger ones in the front and smaller ones towards the back. I added a length of beautiful silver chain to make up the back of the necklace. It was a really lovely round silver link, but quite a big link and it finished off the necklace wonderfully – with a very contemporary feel to it. I think the finished piece was great and it’s definitely a bridal necklace that I am proud of. If you are looking for some jewellery for your wedding – take a look at the options available on the Bridal Jewellery category of the site – but you can also contact me for bespoke items.
Crystal Bridal Earrings

Rebecca contacted me for some earrings for her wedding which was at the end of March. She wanted the heart earrings, but wanted them to be made much longer as she was wearing her hair down. The finished length that she wanted was about 7cm’s. I added some Swarovski Crystals to the drop and finished it off with the heart crystal. I think they’re lovely!
Caroline's Bridesmaids Necklaces

I was contacted in February by Caroline, who was looking for some necklaces to be made for her bridesmaids. The dresses were very striking, ivory with a chiffon overlay and black flowers stitched into the overlay. Caroline chose a large Swarovski heart crystal on 2 strands of Black organza. The wedding was held in South Africa on the 19th of March.
Sinead's Wedding

Sinead was kind enough to send me some of her wedding pics yesterday. I honestly struggled to decide which one to post today, they are all lovely and she made a gorgeous bride! I decided on this one, because it sums up what I think a wedding is all about ( that and my necklace looks good in it!)
Sinead's Wedding Necklace

Sinead also wanted a necklace made for her wedding which was on the 12th January.
As I had made the earrings using very pale pink crystals and tiny white seed pearls we wanted something using those colours.
Sinead liked the idea of a choker and very helpfully gave me some pictures to work from. The result was a very intricate necklace using crystals, white pearls and teardrop crystals. It was made entirely of sterling silver and reminded me of lace it was so detailed.
